The Zoo Sauvage will open as scheduled on April 28th, 2012.

The management is happy to announce that the Zoo will open its doors to visitors beginning on Saturday, April 28th as initially scheduled, despite the damage caused by rising water levels on March 21st, 2012.

Every part of the Zoo will be accessible to visitors, including the tour of the Nature trail Park, as well as every other habitat except for the section with the water games and the Mini Farm, but only for a few weeks. Polar bear cubs Ganuk et Ta&iuml;ga will leave the Zoo Sauvage de Saint-F&eacute;licien on November 16 in order to continue their lives in Qu&eacute;bec City, and this just days before their second birthday. This departure also marks the conclusion of a landmark project for the Zoo, one which bore witness to the birth of these cubs in captivity. Saint-F&eacute;licien, Quebec, Canada, May 19th, 2011 -&nbsp; An important animal exchange for the Zoo Sauvage de Saint-F&eacute;licien involving a male Polar bear from the Dierenrijk Zoo in the Netherlands. Steps were first taken about a year ago and the exchange took place recently.
