Seeking new thrills? Come and experience an exciting adventure of exploration and discoveries in the Land of the Caribou. Constantly innovating in the Québec Tourism industry, the Zoo Sauvage offers you the opportunity to go from spectator to participant
The Walking Adventure in the Land of the Caribou (Randonnée aventure au pays des caribous) offers you a rare and intimate contact with wildlife. Accompanied by an experienced guide, you will experience remarkable moments with a unique learning and observation quality. This activity will let you experience the out of the ordinary adventure of living at the pace of the caribou.

The Walking Adventure in the Land of the Caribou is a guided expedition that includes:
 

Multisensory Movie showing
Backstage visit of the Zoo Sauvage
Wildlife trails in a private vehicle
Vintage lunch at the Colonial Farm 
Hike in the woods
Canoeing at sundown on ‘Lac Montagnais’
Meal cooked on the fire
Evening around the campfire
Night in a prospector tent with a caribou herd.

Telemetry basics
Large screen movie about nature
Tickets for lunch at the Zoo Sauvage restaurant `La Chaudrée des bois
Tickets to the self-guided tour of the Zoo Sauvage including all of its activities




Other Information
 



Duration of the package : 1 day and a half – from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm the following day

Period of availability : spring, summer and fall (mid-May to mid-October)
Tour leaves every day of July and August. Upon availability for the others months.
Target clients : all ages 6 and up.
Group : minimum of 6 and maximum of 12 people. If you are smaller than a group of 6, the Zoo will mix you with others in order to form a group
Languages : the package is offered in either French or English.
Also included : snacks, one ticket valid for lunch before departure, sleeping bag, pillow, hand towels and all material needed for the activities.
Cost per person : $ 265.00$ (14 and older) – $ 230.00$ (13 and younger)

A Guaranteed Change of Scenery

Are you looking for an out of this world experience? The Zoo Sauvage activity ‘Sleeping at the Zoo in Asia’ will satisfy your need for a change in scenery. See the Zoo under the stars and spend the night near our Amur tigers a nighttime activity that will make your family live memorable moments.

This activity includes:

• A guided tour of the pedestrian area on the theme of how animals adapt at night
• Experienced nature guide
• Evening in front of the campfire
• Night spent on the welcome center of the Amur tigers habitat 
• Traditional breakfast served at the ‘La Chaudrée des bois’ restaurant.
