Diet : Herbivore, adults feed primarily on vegetable matter whereas goslings also consume small invertebrates.
Reproduction : Depending on the breed, from the age of 1 year, the female starts to lay towards the end of April, generally from 4 to 6 eggs (3 to 12) that she incubates for approximately 30 days. A goose can lay approximately 50 eggs per year.
Lifespan : Up to 30 years in captivity.
