Diet : Omnivorous, feeding on animal carcasses, insects, fruit, seeds, small rodents, eggs, fledglings, frogs, etc.
Reproduction : From the age of 3 years old, mating and egg laying take place between February and June. The female incubates 3-6 eggs for 18-20 days. The fledglings’ first flight takes place 35-44 days later.
Lifespan : Up to 20 years in the wild.
Predators : Birds of prey and other predators.
Status : Not at risk.
