Diet : Herbivore, feeds on grasses and shrubs. In winter, it feeds on grains supplied by the breeder.
Reproduction : From the age of 5 months for males and 1 year for females, mating occurs between late summer and early winter. After 5 months of gestation, females give birth to one kid, sometimes two, to be weaned at the age of 4 or 5 months.
Lifespan : In captivity, about 15 years.
